CONNECT FrameWorks Workshops present: Realizing value from innovation: successful business models for new technologies
8:00 AM to 11:00 AM
In partnership with Blue Mine Group
Program overview:
To translate innovation into real value, you need both great technology and a great business model. However, while most high tech, biotech and cleantech companies have wonderful technologies, relatively few have good business models. As a result, most new technologies fail to realize their commercial potential.
This workshop, excerpted from Blue Mine Group’s compelling two-day course, will teach you the essentials of how to design a successful business model. Drawing on hands-on experience with over one hundred technology companies and the core insights of key thought leaders, this powerful workshop could revolutionize the way you think about your business.
Benefits of attending:
• You will gain an overview of:
o the five critical elements of a business model, and some key tools for optimizing them individually and collectively to maximize the value potential of your technology
o the different types of business models to consider, the advantages and disadvantages of each, and how to combine them into an optimal model for your business
o how to develop and continually evolve your business model across the innovation lifecycle, from concept to exit, to maximize value at each stage.
• You will leave this workshop with an action plan for your business and an extensive list of resources for further learning.
• Properly applied, the knowledge you gain from this workshop will help you reduce your capital needs, secure funding more easily, accelerate customer acquisition and growth, increase profitability and cashflow, and maximize the value potential of your new technology.
• As a special benefit, all workshop attendees will be entitled to a 20% discount on the registration fee for the full two-day course (details will be provided at the workshop).
Who should attend:
Executives, entrepreneurs, technologists, board members and investors interested in learning how to maximize the value of technology innovation.
